MEMA Announces Launch of New MEMA Website

PEARL, Miss. (MEMA) - The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is launching a new and improved MEMA website, msema.org. The updated site offers a sleek, modern design, improved functionality, and a user-friendly experience tailored to serve Mississippians and visitors better. Designed with both the public and county emergency managers in mind, MEMA’s revamped platform offers a wealth of information to help everyone stay informed and fully prepared before, during, and after any emergency situation.

“Our goal with the new website is to provide the right information to the right people at the right time. Mississippi experiences severe weather year round, and we want everyone to easily find the potentially life-saving information they are looking for,” says MEMA Executive Director Stephen McCraney. “We’ve made enhancements that prioritize accessibility, speed, and ease of use, ensuring every Mississippian can access information easily and efficiently.”

The new MEMA website features:

  • Enhanced Navigation – A streamlined menu and intuitive layout make it easier than ever for users to find the information they need.
  • Mobile Optimization – Fully responsive design ensures seamless browsing across all devices.
  • Accessibility for All – Designed and developed to be accessible to people with disabilities and non-English speaking residents.

MEMA's Offices of External Affairs and Information Technology have teamed up with Tyler Technologies to create a user-friendly website that will be beneficial for every Mississippian. Tyler also helped build the award-winning MEMA App.

“We are always thrilled when our work with the state directly benefits Mississippians, keeping them safe and informed during emergencies,” said Tina Wells, general manager of Tyler in Mississippi. “This new website complements the MEMA app, ensuring our communities can access critical information quickly and easily.”

Visitors are encouraged to explore the new MEMA website and experience the latest updates firsthand.
