Pearl, Miss. – The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is saddened to learn that one of the Sharkey County citizens hospitalized due to the March 24th tornadoes has passed away. This, unfortunately, brings the death toll in Sharkey County to 14, and statewide is 22 due to the severe weather. Our thoughts are with the families who’ve lost loved ones and are still recovering from the storms.
