Madison, Miss. – The mobile recovery unit operated by FEMA and the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) in Jasper County is closing permanently today, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m. The unit is at the Jasper County Emergency Management Agency, parking lot (next to the Jasper County Justice Court) 37 W 8th Ave, Bay Springs, MS 39422.
Jasper County residents do not need to go to a physical place to connect with FEMA. Homeowners and renters can continue to get information and apply for assistance

§ or by calling the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362.
The FEMA helpline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with language translation services available. If you use a relay service, such as video relay (VRS), captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA your number for that service.
